We're a full-service interior design firm based in Marin County, California specializing in creating beautiful spaces for homes and hospitality projects across the San Francisco Bay Area, Wine Country, Lake Tahoe, and across the United States.

From cozy residences to boutique hotels, wineries, spas, ski chalets, and even Burning Man camps, we're passionate about enhancing your lifestyle while cherishing our planet. Whether it's renovating existing spaces or building new ones, we're here to make every environment a reflection of your unique style and comfort.

At MAZA DESIGN, we have a simple philosophy: design should engage our senses and evoke feelings of comfort and well-being. It is not just about aesthetics, it’s about creating spaces that truly resonate with the people who inhabit them.

Our name, MAZA, draws inspiration from the traditional Ukrainian "Mazanka" – humble rural dwellings crafted from wood and clay, which served as the heart of family life, offering warmth, shelter, and community. Where every corner served a purpose and every element felt like home. Drawing from this heritage, we strive to infuse our designs with the same sense of simplicity, functionality, and connection to nature. Every detail, from the seamless flow of a room to the choice of materials, is carefully considered to ensure that each space reflects our client's lifestyle and values.

In our projects, we prioritize five core principles: functionality, beauty, health, connection to nature, and ethical responsibility. We aim to create spaces that are not only visually stunning but also practical and sustainable, using non-toxic materials and emphasizing craftsmanship and environmental responsibility.

We believe that good design has the power to enhance our perception of the world and improve our quality of life. Our designs engage all the senses, from the tactile feel of natural textures to the welcoming glow of ambient lighting. By harmonizing form and function, we create environments that are not only beautiful but also feel like home.
